1919
Beta Psi chapter was installed at the Unversity of Wisconsin-Madison on December 6, 1919. Brother H.A. Langenhan (Chi) directed the installation ceremony and performed the Ritual of Initiation.
1935
The chapter became dormant.
1939
The chapter was reactivated at a ceremony in which Brothers Arthur H. Uhl (Beta Psi), Lloyd Parks (Pi), and Kenneth Redman (Beta Sigma) participated.
1946
The chapter was inactive during World War II and on November 11, 1946 the chapter was reactivated largely through the efforts of Brother Dale E. Wurster (Beta Psi) of the faculty. Brother Wurster directed the installation ceremony and the initiation of the new members. Soon after the reactivation of the chapter, a chapter house was secured which became the center of the chapter's social program and other campus activities.
1970
On March 14, 1970, 146 brothers and guests attended a 50th Anniversary Dinner Dance. Grand Regent, August G Danti, First Grand Vice-Regent, Norman A Campbell, and Executive Secretary Gerald C Henry represented the Fraternity. Grand Regent Danti presented the 50th Anniversary Citation to Regent Kurt Holm, and Secretary Henney presented the "Order of the Golden Mortar" Certificate to former Dean Arther H. Uhl, a member of the Beta Psi chapter for 50 years. In his remarks Dr. Uhl recounted the first 50 years of Beta Psi, paying tribute to former Grand Ritualist, Dale E Wurster, who motivated and worked for reactivation of Beta Psi following World War II, and to former Grand Vice Regent Richard S Stromen, who worked in association with Dr. Wurster in establishing the Wisconsin Graduate Chapter in 1949. From this "earlier ear," Beta Psi Chapter has given four Grand Officers to the Fraternity - Brothers Ralph W Clark, A John Schwarz, Richard S Strommen, and Dale E Wurster.
